Chitharal Jain Monuments (Malai Kovil)
Rock-cut Jain sculptures dating back to about the 9th century, on a small hill with a temple at the top. Old Vattezhuthu inscriptions and a great view across the foothills.
Rider tip. A short climb on stone steps. Leave footwear at the base, carry water and stay respectful, since it is an active place of worship.
