Mathur Hanging Trough
Built in the 1960s to carry irrigation water across the Pahruli river between two hills, it is among the longest and tallest trough bridges in Asia. Walk the trough for a 360 degree view of green Western Ghats country.
Rider tip. Ride slowly through Mathur village on the approach and keep an eye out for school traffic in the morning.
